She was predeceased by: her father George Ernst; her husband Bennie Genter; her son Raul Colon Jr.; and her siblings, Helga Colon and George Bade.
She is survived by: her children, Rachael Smith (Martin) of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania and Randolph Colon (Susan Weber) of Crawfordsville; her sister Karin Morales of Utah; and her friend Martha Bell. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Crawfordsville Fire Department, Franciscan Hospice, or Woodland Heights Christian Church.
