He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Albert and Hallie Frances Deck (Turner); his wife Joan Deck; and his siblings, Anna Mae Thompson, Latricia Dowell, Joyce Day, Alfred and Charles Deck.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Robert Waltman (Laura) and Richard Waltman; and his siblings, Madonna Frazier (Bill), Eddie Paul Deck (Wilma), Fred Deck (Jeanne) and Jack Deck (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
