She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell T. Ottinger and Alta Thompson Ottinger; and her brother Rex Ottinger of Atlanta. She is survived by: her husband Larry Miller; her children, Steve Coil (Margo) of Moline, Scott Coil (Sommer) of Huntsville, Suzy Koonce (Al) of Thorntown and Shawn Coil (Sara) of Dayton, Ohio; and her stepsons, Cass Miller (Pat) of Tangier and Jeff Miller of Rockville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita Miller may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
