He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Zoy Branstetter and Edith L. Peterson Branstetter; and his siblings, Max, Marvin, Jack Branstetter, Martha Peebles, Mary Hayes, Joan Vermillion and Joyce Lidikay.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn May Schultz; his daughters, Patricia West (Douglas) of Terre Haute and Linda Branstetter of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchildren, Michelle Steele (Matthew) of Lafayette and Christopher Teets (Melanie); and his stepgrandchildren, Kyle West of Terre Haute and Alison West of Terre Haute.
