She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Kerns and Lillian Kerns (Bauer); her husband Gary H. Wininger; and her brothers, George Walter Kerns, Clarence Edward Kerns and Ralph Alton Kerns.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian Wininger (Martha) of Crawfordsville, Brent Wininger (Linda) of Crawfordsville and Brad Wininger (Dondra) of Waveland; her grandchildren, Morgan Shanks (Michael) of Terre Haute, Brittany Hatten (Keith) of Zionsville, Courtney Wininger of Knoxville, Brooke Chapman (Kory) of Greenfield, Paige Wininger of Lafayette and Peyton Wininger of Waveland; her great grandchildren, Jane, Miles, Polly Shanks, Henley Hatten, Brody and Brendan Chapman; and her sisters, Maryrose Risner of Crawfordsville and Betty Crays of French Lick, Indiana..

Because of the active Covid-19 virus and concern for the safety of friends and family, a private family service with no visitation will be held on Monday, May 11th, at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 W. South Blvd., Crawfordsville, with Pastor Kelly Nelson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Crawfordsville, Indiana.
