He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Cornett and Lilly Mae Cornett (Sturman); his son Travis Cornett; his brother Steve Cornett; and his aunts, Beulah Toney and Magnollie Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Ben Cornett (Sayrah), Derek Cornett and Christy Horbach (Chris); his grandchildren, Austin (Jake), Trevor, Chandler, Xavier, Mason, Scarlett, Katie and Corbin; his great grandchildren, Nova and Kasen; his siblings, Connie Perkins (Jerry), Randy Cornett (Laurel), Gerald Cornett (Linda) and Donald Jo Cornett; and his uncle Wayne Bell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
