She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Gonzalez and Ester Gonzalez; her husband James I. Painter; and her brothers, Charlie, Alex and Jimmy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Karle (Neil) of Crawfordsville, IN, Elizabeth Howen (Steven) of Austin, TX, Amy Walls of Crawfordsville, IN and Amber Pfotenhauer (Michael) of Greenwood, IN; and her siblings, Homer Gonzalez (Jinx) of Bailey, CO, Olga Early of Glendale, AZ, Linda Levay (Joe) of Portland, OR and Mary Martinez of Glendale, AZ. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church (307 South Washington Street, Crawfordsville, IN 47933) or Psi Iota Xi (PO Box 925, Crawfordsville, IN 47933).
