She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Brown and Mary Tucker Brown; and her sister Barbara Sanders. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Simms (Lori) of Lake Holliday and John Simms (Terri) of Crawfordsville; her grandchildren, Elijah Simms (Taylor Hendricks), Angela Thomas (Don Rogers), Jay Simms (Mandy) and Curt Simms (Angela); her great grandchildren, Lexi Frederick (Bryce), Kendra, Derek and Dylan Simms; her niece Donna Britt; and her nephew Ted A. Sanders.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home for the Friendless Animals in memory of Nell.
