He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Runyon and Jeanette Runyon (Mason); his wife Shirley Ann Hesler; his son Douglas Runyon; and his siblings, Kenny, Cecil Runyon and Mary Ellen Rader.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Runyon (Julie) and Jane Murray (Tom) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Aimee Garrison (Tanner), Aaron Allee, Chris Walsh (Ashley) and Faith Haugh; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Elizabeth, Preston, Gage and Calvin; and his close friend Larry Lynch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in his memory to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big 4 Arch Rd, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
