It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marylyn J. Showalter of Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Stout and Edna Mae Lough Stout; her husband Tom Kent Showalter, Jr.; her son Doug Showalter; her brothers, David and Harold Stout; and her close friend Jim Thompson.
She is survived by: her pet Lola; her children, Shari Showalter Leffel and Joe Showalter; her granddaughters, Lindsey Franke (Christian) and Chelsey Thomas (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Zane Franke and Benjamin Thomas; her brothers, Ted Stout (Carol) and Dan Stout (Penny); and her sisters-in-law, Michele Stout and Carol Stout. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
