He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl Whittom and Rosa Belle Leroux Whittom; and his wife Hazel Jean Mink. He is survived by: his children, Darlene Moore of Petersburg, Linda Marie Harvey (Bob) of Bolivar, Missouri and Louie Franklin Whittom, Jr. of Newport News, Virginia; and his brothers, David of Missouri and Floyd of Missouri. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
