He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Shelton and Ical Allen Shelton; his daughter Sheryl; his son-in-law Russell Warford; his son Danny; and his siblings, Harold, Leslie, Carl Shelton and Mildred Pointer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Eileen; his son Tom Shelton (Phyllis) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Jason (Denise) of Othello, Ryan (Jennifer) of Noblesville and Justine Warford of Crawfordsville; his great grandchildren, Holly, Molly Van Ostran, Maddie Shelton, Alex Warford and Nicholas Warford; and his sister Mary Perry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
