He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Sparks and Vessie Sparks (Purdue); and his siblings, Roscoe Purdue, Morris, Earl Sparks, Adrian Sparks, Charles Sparks and Virginia Templeton.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sue Eakle; his sons, Brian Lee Sparks (Penny Lea) and Gregg Allen Sparks; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Sparks, Cindy Sparks and Vickie Sparks. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
