He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Pursell and Lucille Pursell (Metz); and his siblings, Dean Allen Pursell, Donna Lu Hilgediek and Barbara Mae Redifer.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Glascock of Linden; his children, Terri Jones (Robert), Brian Pursell (Jennifer) and Christy; his great grandchildren, German Shepard and Lady; and his caregivers, Natalie, Joe, Lou Ann, Patty and Jason of Social Services. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
