He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Grimes and Annabell Grimes (Raney); his brothers, Bob and Ron Grimes; his siblings-in-law, Phil Jackson, Jerry Anne Grimes and Patsy Jackson; his nephew Jeff Randall; and his pet Pearl.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Beth Akers of Winchester, KY and Amy Guthrie (Drew) of Plano, TX; his granddaughters, Megan and Jill Akers; his nieces, Lee Anne Randall, Jennifer Hughes (Bob) and Laura Adams (Paxton); his nephew Todd Jackson; his sister-in-law Cindy Grimes; and his pets, Calvin and Sadie. He is also survived by several great nieces and a great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's ministry/Life Project at Browns Valley Christian Church at the address above.
