He was predeceased by: his father Irvin Gambrel; his stepdaughter Michelle Wilson Shelton; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Chloe June Shelton. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Gambrel; his wife Cyndi Gambrel; his sons, Todd Gambrel (Heidi) and Scott Gambrel (Laura); his siblings, Keith (Carol) and Salli Betz (Steve); his stepdaughter Amy Pond (John Larew); his grandchildren, Thatcher, Rowan, Lilly and Noah; his stepgrandchildren, Victoria Padgett (Todd), Chance Sheldon, Joseph, Jacob and Nathan Pond; and his great grandchildren, Aurora June and Addilynn Padgett.
