It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Branstetter (Crawfordsville, Indiana), born in Darlington, Indiana, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Everett Butler and Margaret "Maggie" Hood Butler; her husband Jim; and her siblings, Louise and Marion.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Church of Bloomington, Diana Binford (David) of Crawfordsville and Paula Smith (Jim) of Crawfordsville; and her grandchildren, Amber Gilstrap (Scott) of Bedford, Jason Douglas (Nancy Weliever) of Darlington, Marci Leitch (Khelli) of Columbia City, Cody Smith (Kayla) of Crawfordsville and Eric Church of Bloomington. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Darlington United Methodist Church or the Darlington Library.
