She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard J. Adams and May Irene Piercy Adams; and her sisters, Mary-Lou Schneider and Rosemarie Adams. She is survived by: her husband Joe Bruton; her children, Kurt Bruton (Erica), Mike Bruton and Stacy Weinrich (Dave); her grandsons, Reece, Cameron, Jereth and Jarod; and her siblings, Beverly Harris, Rita Bevans, Bernadette Hall, Tom Adams and Bernard Adams.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burkhart Funeral Home (201 W Wabash Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
