He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine McGaw Steele of Virginia and H. Wesley Steele. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Steele; his son Matthew Steele (Susan Jedrzejewski) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Harry Steele (Bobbie) of Indianapolis, Martha Kuffel (Ronald Micek) of Schaumburg, Sue Brady (Paul) of Hebron, KY and Jonnie Rae Gehring (Joe) of Fortville.
