He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Callis and L. Maxine Harmless Callis; and his daughter Lori Lohorn-Bradshaw. He is survived by: his wife Kay Thompson Callis; his children, Raina Gates (Jason) and Steve; his grandchildren, Brittany Lohorn-Weaver, Brody Lohorn (Brittany), Garrett Gates (Brittany), Gavin Gates and Steven Smith; his great grandchildren, Kamryn, Loirn Beard, Leiah and Maci Lohorn; his stepgrandson Kaydenn Weaver; and his cousins, Beverly, Doug and Joe Hawkins of Rockville.
Due to high COVID-19 risks, private family graveside services will be held at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
