With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hunter Abney of Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 60. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Hunter Abney to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Breedlove and Dewey "Dude" Abney; and his brothers, Jimmy Dillon, Vance Abney and Clint Abney.

He is survived by: his children, Dewey Abney (Janetxi), Tommy Abney (Cristan) and Kayla Roberts (Anthony); and his sisters, Lisa Clahan (Terry) and Wanda Summers. He is also survived by two grandsons; five granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in John's name to the American Legion Post 72, 101 Walter Remley Dr, Crawfordsville, Indiana 47933.
