It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joann Ruth Mathews of Crawfordsville, Indiana, born in Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Cronkhite and Ruth Cronkhite (Pyle); her spouse Dean Mathews; her daughter Rebecca Mathews; and her brother Daniel Cronkhite.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Hecker of Lafayette, IN, Rachel Mathews of Danville, IL and Joel Mathews of Williamsport, IN.; her brother Glen Cronkhite (Joyce) of Danville, IL; her grandchildren, James Hecker, Eric Miles, Micheal Mathews, Joshua Mathews and Sarah Mathews; her great grandchildren, Kada Miles, Tyson Miles, Canian Miles, DeKarter Mathews and DeKarcier Mathews; and her nieces, Debbie, Suzi and Heather Cronkhite.

Due to the Covid restrictions we kindly ask that face coverings be worn, and social distancing is maintained by those who attend.
