He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Herman and Elizabeth Nadine Byers (Smith); his siblings, Dolly Stembaugh, Bill Byers, Junior Byers, Clyde Byers, Betty Allen, JoAnn Jeffries, Larry Byers, Gary Byers and Bud Byers; his granddaughter Amanda Herron; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Samantha, Thomas Wheeler, William Wheeler, Jim Wheeler, Frances Livengood, June West and Sue Sutherlin.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Byers; his children, Amber Herron (Brad) and Brian Byers (Anita); his sisters, Nelda Hollingshead and Kay Simonton; his grandchildren, David Herron (Kayla), Dale Byers (Kristin) and Misha Byers (Justin Piersall); and his great grandchildren, Brian, Ryliegh, Darius, Lily, Liam, Bob Wheeler, Jack Wheeler, Jeanne Cornett, Darlene Brooks and Jane Starnes (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
