She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Burks and Edna Mae Tomes Woosley; her husband Ray Gene Young; her siblings, Sheridan, Alben Woosley and Joyce Harrison; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Harrison and Myra Woosley.

She is survived by: her children, Jay Young (Sherry) of Waynetown, IN and Erin Young of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Makhalea (Chris) and Shane Young; her brother Terrell Woosley (Mary Ann); and her sister-in-law Lillie Woosley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
