She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Herschel and Nancy Louise VanVactor Skinner; and her sisters, Katherine Scott, RuthAnn Hammond and Charlotte Estes.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Cox; her children, Mark Cox, Diana Barnhart (Dan) and Mary Cox; her grandchildren, Jason Cox, Kyle Barnhart, Stacy Cox, Kailyn Cox and Jordanne Willett; and her sister Pam Billingsley of Illinois. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made in her honor to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County or to Villalobos Rescue Center, New Orleans.
