He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jack and MaryAnn Steele; and his sister-in-law Jae Steele. He is survived by: his wife Leesa E. Steele; his sons, Andy McVay (Mary Conley) of Crawfordsville and Nik Jensen (Harmony) of Crawfordsville; his siblings, Robert J. Steele II of Huntsville, Alabama, Marjorie Mitchell (Max) of Crawfordsville and Eva Silver (Jerry) of Williamsport; his grandson Brantley; his brother-in-law James Joseph II; and his nieces and nephews, Jediah Steele (Desire), JD Joseph, Jordan Silver (Mirah), Jason Silver (Ashley), Max Alexander Mitchell, Joseph Silver, Heather Palmer (Daniel), Veronica Weston (Nick) and Samantha Alward (Cass).
