Reed of Crawfordsville, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Reed and Lois Reed (Barber); his sister Patty Osselaer; and his parents-in-law, Don and Guin McClain.

He is survived by: his wife Connie; his sons, Scott (Julie) of Zionsville and Todd (Cristy) of Indianapolis; his grandsons, Tyler, Zachary and Parker; his brothers, Jerry (Libby) of Charlotte, NC and Joe of Loveland, CO; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Osselaer of Anderson and Mike McClain of Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.

The family asks that guests follow current COVID safety protocols and wear face coverings.

“Very sad to hear this about Jim. I first met Jim in the middle 70s. Jim was my accountant when he was with George S Olive. Jim and I used to play tennis in Valparaiso for several years. I became reacquainted with Jim after 15 years or so when I move back to Valparaiso area in 1998. Jim was a great friend to the Driver family in Northwest Indiana. Connie, please except our condolences on Jim’s passing. I am sure that he is well received in heaven. Tom Driver”
