It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Lee Herron of Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Herron and Cora Herron (Coon); his wife Carol Edwards; his siblings, Charles Herron, Ruby Ralston, Mary Abston, Helen Rutledge and Jane Whipple; and his children, Doug Edwards, Liz Vannice and Patti Wray.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Herron (Cathy) of Springfield, Kurt Herron of Old Hickory, Jill Adams (Clay) of New Market, Ralph Edwards (Cheryl) of Darlington and Amy Polly of Crawfordsville; and his brother William "Bill" Herron of South Bend. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waynetown Christian Church (101 W Walnut St, Waynetown, IN 47990). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Jack's name to Waynetown Christian Church, 101 W. Walnut Street, Waynetown, Indiana 47990.
