He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Nelson and Ebba Nelson; his brother Albin; his children, Karla Jackson (Darrell) of Crawfordsville, Alida, Hallie, Lilly, Lucy and Julie Hess (Chad) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Avery, Cale and Hayden; his daughter Kerri Mehmen (Kyle) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Alison, Jackson and Anna; his son Don Henry Nelson (Tiffini) of Arizona; and his grandsons, Elliot and Dominic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Mace Methodist Church, 5546 E US Hwy 136, Crawfordsville, IN 47933 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
