He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Maxine Istwan (Niebrugge). He is survived by: his children, Ed Istwan (Debbie) of Crossville, IL and Deborah Birk (Jeff) of Crawfordsville, IN. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
