He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Proctor and Rebecca Proctor (Crabtree); and his close friend Paul Hensel. He is survived by: his siblings, Brian Proctor (Rita), Mischa Rogers and Linda Hudson (John); and his children, Jolanda Curtis (Mike), Jason Nelson (Summer), Shawn Proctor (Sami), Johanna Walton, Maria Proctor and Brooke Proctor. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 2 aunts.
