He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Martin and Doris June McCloud Whitaker; his wife Carole J. Ingram; and his stepchildren, John Alan Kiger and Debbie Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Whitaker and Kristina Whitaker; his grandchildren, Patience, Haley, Michael, Krista, Felicity (Jason) and Blaze; and his stepgrandchildren, Cary, Kyle and Mike (Mariah). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren; and 3 step great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burkhart Funeral Home (201 W Wabash Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
