We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2020, at the age of 79, Edith Bennett (Crawfordsville, Indiana), born in Empire, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dockins and Georgia A. Roberts Dockins; her former husband James "Jim" Walden; her husband Jack W. Bennett; and her siblings, Eugene "Sonny" Dockins, Nela Pridmore, Evelyn Jones, Mary Hunt and Linda Dockins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Dockins (Katy) of Crawfordsville and Betty Smith of Darlington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations in her memory to be directed to the Fremont St. Baptist Church, 1908 Fremont Street, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
