He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hugh Gray and Laura Darby Gray; his wife Joan Gray; his son Steve Gray; his brother Mike Gray; and his cousin Tom Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Ryland (Rick), Leslie Warren (Charlie) and Hugh Scott Gray (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Heidi Myers (Brian), Molly Whitecotton (Jack), Anna Hanthorn, Isaac Ryland, Joy Ryland, Michelle Ryland, Shannon Gray, Melanie Gray, Holden Gray and Grant Gray; and his daughter-in-law Joyce Lewis.
