He was predeceased by: his parents, John Abbott and Elsie Abbott (Macann); his grandson Jacob Douglas; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Gayler and Dick Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife LeAnn Griffin Abbott; his daughters, Daisy Jayne Abbott Douglas and Leiah Suzanne Abbott Snyder; his grandsons, Gabriel Douglas and Nash Abbott; his siblings, Don (Marie), Dan (Kandi) and Dale Christopherson (Chris) of Poulsbo, WA; and his brother-in-law Scott Griffin (Melissa) of Veedersburg, IN. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, and nephews.
