It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Grimes (Crawfordsville, Indiana), who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clell Norton and Jessie Norton (Chasteen); her husband David Grimes; and her siblings, Keith, Coleman, Glen Norton and Lorene Yazel.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Pam Shelby, Kelly Buck, Deborah Seward, Lyn Mitchell Taylor, Eric Yazel, Brad Norton, Jim Grimes, Randall Grimes and Kevin Mitchell; her sister-in-law Kay Norton; and her close friend Sam Goff.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Burkhart Funeral Home (201 W Wabash Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Donations in memory of Dorothy Grimes may be made to the girl's and boy's golf team at Crawfordsville High School, 1 W. Athenian Drive, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
