He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Hayes and Gertrude Bolen Hayes of Waynetown; his wife Elisabeth Karger; his children, Mike Hayes, Neil Hayes and Britt Hayes; his nephew Rick Hayes; his grandchildren, Corey, Brittany and Jasmine; and his great grandchildren, Madilyn and Jacqueline.
