He was predeceased by: his former wife Rebecca Lou Myers; his spouse Jean Chadwick (Friend); his parents, Lloyd Earl Chadwick and Mary Chadwick (Ward); and his brother Vernon Eugene Chadwick.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Simpson (Gary), Alan Chadwick (Marilyn), Dale Chadwick (Lisa) and Jerry Chadwick. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
