With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Whiteman of Crawfordsville, Indiana, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Brown and Gertrude Brown; her former husbands, James E. Ireland and Charles H. Whiteman; her husband Charlie Whiteman; her children, Cherie Brady Carty (Robert) of Germantown, Wisconsin and William S. Ireland (Deb Nelson) of Crawfordsville; her grandchildren, MacKenzie Carty, Brenden Carty and Mathew Brock Ireland; her stepsons, Gary Whiteman of Springville, Scott Whiteman of Lafayette and Karl Whiteman of San Antonio, Texas; her niece Roxanne Brown Ankney; and her sister Dolores "DoDee" Brown.
