He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ireland and Olive Ireland (Holladay); his wife Twilia Steele Ireland; and his children, Jane Wright, Jim Steele, Gary Steele and Peggy Lowe.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Steele (Linda), Georgiana Nelsen (John) and Donna Rice (David). He is also survived by his several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Care (315 S Washington St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
