He was predeceased by: his brother Jeff Helms. He is survived by: his parents, James A. Helms and Shirley Howard Helms; his wife Machelle Helms of Crawfordsville; his daughter Melissa Myers (Luke) of Crawfordsville; his brother Robert Helms of Tampa Bay, FL; and his grandchildren, Noah Myers and Olivia Myers.
