He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cecil Knauer and Etta Viola Baker Knauer; his son Dennis Knauer; and his daughter-in-law Deb Knauer. He is survived by: his wife Patty Knauer; his children, Phyllis Blackwell (Gail), John Knauer and Kathy Williams (Phil); and his grandchildren, Randi, Shawn, Stephanie, Andrew and Ella. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
