He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Jackson; his brother Joseph Vance; and his grandparents, Maxine Elliot and Melvin Cranmore. He is survived by: his spouse Shannon Pitman; his mother Teresa Vance (Larry) of Crawfordsville; his children, Christopher Patrick Jackson of Cloverdale, Zachary Leslie of Crawfordsville, Samantha McClure of Crawfordsville and Marlina Leslie of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Takoda McClure and Devina Leslie; and his brothers, Jeremy Vance (Katie) of Crawfordsville and Victor Jackson of Crawfordsville.
