He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen Thomas and Wanda Jean Thomas (Tinsman); his son Ronnie Powell; and his siblings, Gail Smoot and Tommy Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Powell of Crawfordsville, Charles Thomas Jr. (Beth) of New Ross, IN and Amber Thomas of Crawfordsville; and his siblings, Marilyn Thomas and John Kepler. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Charles' to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
