It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Burkhart of Crawfordsville, Indiana, born in Beech Grove, Indiana, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl N. Burkhart and Edna L. Byers Burkhart; his former wives, Sandra Eavey and Sandy; and his brother Carl Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Burkhart of Crawfordsville; his sons, Carl Burkhart (Sara) of Crawfordsville and Craig Burkhart (Kat) of Darlington; his stepdaughters, Debi Cruea (Brad) of Crawfordsville, Dianne Gordon (Paul) of Crawfordsville and Jocele Harrison of Lebanon; and his sister Maryellen Sturgeon of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
