She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Abney and Mary Ann Abney (McGreevey); her daughter Kristen Haltom (Jason); her grandson Calvin McCandless; her siblings, Joe Abney (Lisa), Lee Anna Combs (Greg) and Emily Lane (Bruce); her in-laws, Gary and Sandee Cotton; and her sister-in-law Lisa. She was also cherished by 7 nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed helping and organizing the various golf scrambles, raffles, and bowling tournaments to raise money for Riley Children's Hospital, Make a Wish Foundation, and American Cancer Society.
