He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron C. Hamm Sr. and Opal Dicken Hamm; and his siblings, Velma Ritter, Marjorie Vaughn and Ramon Hamm.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta A Nickle; his children, Kathryn Brooks (Jeff), Timothy Hamm (Janice), Michael Hamm (Laurie), Lesa Henderson (Dave), Cindy Talbert (Rick) and David Staley; his grandchildren, Stephanie Pinkard, Joshua Brooks, Ryan Hamm, Bethany Stutzman, Kristina Brooks, Mark Hamm, Trevan Hamm, Hannah Ridenour, Abigail Henderson, Kris Stephen, Shannon Black, Timothy Whiteaker, Scott Staley and Alissha Staley; and his brother Damon Hamm. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
