He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Turpin and Barbara Turpin; and his sisters, Lorena Gillaham and Marsha Mize. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Turpin; his children, Brian, Turpin II, Kaleb Turbin and Brittany Turpin (Thomas Rotzoll); and his siblings, Sheila Scott, Brenda Finch (Ray), Kevin Turpin (Ann) and Darrin Turpin. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many cousins.

At the request of the family flower donations will be accepted.
