He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Starnes and Elsie Starnes (Hardee); and his siblings, Mont, Richard, Earl, Harold, Eileen Smith, Margaret Campbell, Mary DeWitt, Lora Farris and Betty Wing.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Starnes; his children, Greg Starnes (Robin), Jim Starnes (Beth), Linda Ridge (Butch), Brian Starnes (Luann) and Paula Rivers (David); and his sister Donna Pappas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several close in-laws.
Due to the surge of Covid, the family politely requests the use of masks.
