He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Andrea Shields; his children, Nathan, Scott Lehr (LeAnne), Deborah Carter (Norman) and Tammy Wheeler; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Savannah, Noah, Hudson, Jordan, Jayde, Jonathan, Caleb, Emily, Madison, Samuel, Gracy and Jason Todd "JT"; his great grandchildren, Asher, Ella, Mayzie, Elliette, Harvey, Arthur, Kaylynn and Rhiannon; his sisters, Rita Henderson (Roy), Mary Birchfield (Bob) and Barbara Peeler (late James); his sister-in-law Nedra Frye (Jim); and also Edna (Emmitt Miller).

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace & Mercy Ministries, 257 W. Oak Hill Rd. Crawfordsville, Indiana, for youth ministries helping children to attend youth camps and conferences.
